Good Friday
So the holy weekend of easter is here again and as a young chef and man that likes his belly this mean that I get to indulge in lot of food . As a tradition my family and many others across Trinidad and Tobago, we prepare what we like to consider blue food . The menu usually consist of Dasheen,Cassava,Ripe Plantains.Sweet Potatoes, normal potatoes. Then of course there is the many different fishes prepared on this day , but the most common are Fried fish ,stewed fish ,salt fish ,salmon, mackrelle ,curried shrimps and smoked herring . So around this time the fisher folk make a hearty living and so do the farmers . So now I will like to see or hear what u guys made today.
